Another great weekend afloat – Well done to TBYC’s F18 Sailors David White & Matt Rainbow winning the BYC Nore Race Multihull Dinghy class & Ronnie Barnes in his Musto Skiff taking the honours in the Monohull Dinghies. It certainly looked very exciting & we have some fantastic footage of the F18 downwind for the time the Rib could keep up with you.
On Sunday for the Club Mulberry BBQ we were blessed with great weather which by midday had turned into sunfilled clear blue skies & allowing great watersports conditions with lots of smiles.
Great to see so many families taking part in a variety of craft & members making the walk out to join in the fun at low tide. Well done to the two Alex’s for demonstrating their unplanned swimming skills!
Well done to Rupert & Faz in Zeus for first place in the sandhopper class, a great race in windy conditions with all the boats so close throughout the race, Thanks to Ian Bradley for looking after the committee boat and lunches, also a big thank you to Tony, Toby and Sam for the seasafe cover.
We urgently need a race officer and assistant for this Sundays race 10 July, starting at 6.00pm. The current RO is unable to do it. Sorry for late notice.
Hull re-sprayed and keel re-expoxied 2010. Holt Canopus mast. Lots of sails inc. decent racing suit. Milanes rudder.
Boat has won Naionals in past ( not with current owner though!).
Boat in general good order and ready to race.
Summers here so let’s take advantage of the great weather & long days.
TBYC Mulberry Day
