Due to poor weather and a very high low tide on Sunday the Cruiser Lift in has now been rescheduled after club racing this Friday.
Will all sailors and members (the Warm Up Race scheduled for 11:00 this Friday) try to ensure that they are clear of the Dinghy Park by 15:00 to allow this work to take place. Be aware that this work also affects the Slipway and Beach.

Duty roster listings and contact details are only published in Dutyman for 2015.
Dutyman emailed all duty-holders with their 2015 allocated duties and dates in February 2015. Thank you to those who have already confirmed their duties.
Please can all duty- holders access Dutyman and ‘confirm’ your duties under the ‘confirm your duties’ tab. A blue tick will appear against your duty.
Confirming your duties lets the duty managers know that:
- You are able to access DutyMan;
- DutyMan has your correct email address; and
- You are aware of your 2015 duties.
You can still swap your duties at a later date even though you have confirmed them.
If you have duties but have not had an email from DutyMan recently then DutyMan has your wrong email address (or you may need to check your junk/spam box.)
Duty-holders are advised to set up a ‘favourite’ or ‘bookmark’ on their computer, tablet or phone, with their password embedded, for quick and easy access to Dutyman. It’s good for checking all race dates and start times, not just duties.

7.30pm Cadet Evening, this Thursday 26th March
TBYC is introducing CADET RACING on all Sundays, when there is not a Trophy Race. This will be supported with structured training during the season to Club and RYA Championship level. The races will follow a shorter windward/leeward course, introducing a new Cadet Buoy and can be sailed in any class of boat. There will a dedicated member of the Cadet coaching team to help with advice on-shore and from a support Rib on the water. There will be Trophies and prizes for all ages.
Our aim is to help the Cadets gain the confidence to make the transition from the Pico series to Club racing and possibly further. We are keen to encourage the full age range and abilities, giving prizes to our Under 13 year old members, increasing to Under 16 and progressing to include our oldest and most experienced Cadets. This will allow all Cadets at every level to compete on similar terms, with as much support as they require.
The meeting will include a presentation and also time for you to discuss your requirements, possibly finding crews / helms, boat advice etc.
The link below is a full copy of the letter sent out with the TBYC Programme including dates and times. Link: New TBYC Cadet Racing letter
We look forward to seeing you; Parents and Cadets and launching the new Cadet series of Racing and Training.

Thank you to Rupert for a fantastic Rules night on Wednesday.
It was great to see so many people there, from past National Champions and experienced club racers to those new to racing at TBYC, all joined in. Rupert’s knowledge and engaging delivery or each different scenario made for great discussion with some surprising results and answers.
Everyone engaged in the evening and took away something to progress their boat positioning and awareness around the course. If you weren’t there, watch out on Sunday, you could find yourself being called!
The evening was a great success and we will be looking to run another later in the season.
Comments and Questions for next time always welcome. Jeremy
