This activity is aimed at Cadet Sailors to develop their Racing skills. Sessions include exercises to improve boat handling, sailing a set course, starting and finishes with a series of short races.
CADETS ARE TO COMPLETE THE FULL SESSION, coming back during a session is not an option due to safety reasons.
Parents are encouraged to help with preparation, recovery and on-the-water. I DO NEED TWO PARENTS TO HELM AND CREW POLLY, please let me know.
Please complete the short form to register your child for this session. Click here
(This allows me to prepare the Race sheet and saves so much time on the day)

*** Update *** 02/09/2022 *** Showers are now back on *** The ladies showers now have levers to switch them on and off, while I appreciate that they are not the most attractive, they should function better than the taps that were in place that had broken and be easier to replace in the future should any problems arise **
*** 01/09/2022 Update ** All of the taps are being replaced on Friday. Therefore they should all be working for the weekend.
Please note that the ladies showers have currently been switched off as two of the taps are broken and we cannot isolate one of them on its own.
We have called our very helpful plumber in to get the problem resolved as soon as possible. But at this time of water shortages we did not want to leave it leaking. Therefore all of the showers are currently not able to be used. If we cannot make a fix by the weekend, we will switch them back on when needed and then isolate them again.
Thank you for your patience while we resolve this issue.
Regards
Scott James, House Rep.

Congratulations to Alex Farrall and George Warrington who are the new Sandhopper National Champions,
that really was some great sailing. A huge well done must go to Richard Barnes, Mark J Dell and the
little Dells as well as Allen Burrell and Mark Jewell. The top 3 boats so close together just shows the
class of sailing and completion within the Sandhopper Fleet. Thank you to everyone that took part
and supported the event. Let’s make 2023 even bigger and better
