From Janet Wesley on 5th June
My Dad, Bob Marshall, who was a very active member of the Yacht Club for many years from the mid 1970’s until the early 2000’s, died in March. He had been Cruiser Captain at one point and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of sailing and the social life at TBYC.
Dad was just short of his 94th birthday and passed away quietly and peacefully in Shrewsbury, where he has lived since 2011.
There will be a Memorial Service on 25th June at 2.30p.m. at St Llonios Church, Llandinam, Powys, when his ashes will be interred alongside his wife, Jo. There will be refreshments afterwards at The Lion, Llandinam. The family will welcome any of Bob’s friends who wish to attend,
Please make prior contact with myself (travelling [email protected]) or my brother, John ( [email protected])
We prefer not to receive floral tributes, but instead we are asking those who wish, to make a donation to the RNLI in Bob’s memory.
