TBYC Cadets at the Matt Dear Race

Success for all 9 TBYC Cadets at the Matt Dear Race hosted by Thames Estuary Yacht Club. Congratulations go to Holly for 1st place, John for 2nd place and Monty for 3rd place. All the Cadets sailed well in varied conditions from a choppy sea and high winds to a drop in wind and a strong out-going tide at the end of the race.      Well done to all.

 

This prodigious Race is in memory of Matthew Dear who tragically lost his life after taking Anabolic steroids, is to raise the awareness of the dangers to young people.
