This Sunday we are holding the Cadet Rebellious Bowl.
This Trophy Race is for Cadets to race with the main fleet starting at 13.00 (as in the programme, but check the starting sequence on the day).
There will be a separate start for this race, being Race One on Sunday.
The Cadet Training and Races will still go ahead for those who are not quite ready to race in the main fleet. However, I encourage you to have a go!

Last Sunday we had our first Cadet training session and races this season. After an on-shore briefing, observing social distancing, 13 boats and 20 sailors took to the water. It was great to see again our enthusiastic Cadets plus welcoming Daniel to our squad. We began with our usual warm-up; sailing a tight figure-of-eight course and moving onto rapid tacking. The Cadets then practised their starts before competing in three races. Great sailing and great kids!

We are delighted to announce that the club will now return to Cadet Training. This is not the Sail Training programme that the club runs but more specific coaching for cadets and indeed adults, who have a basic sailing knowledge and keen to learn more boat handling skills and some race craft.
A Risk Assessment has been completed as required for the Covid 19 issues, as for all club activities. The link to this is below.
