Catering at TBYC
Dear Members, Visitors and all that have enjoyed the catering at Thorpe Bay Yacht Club for private events.
The catering Manager Howard Fruin, due to personal reasons, has tendered his resignation to the club.
On behalf of all club members we would like to thank him for all of his hard work during his employment with us.
Howard’s dedication was evident through his commitment in supporting our sailing and social calendar providing excellent food that was very much appreciated.
We wish him well in his future ventures and look forward to seeing him as a member socially around the club and I hope, out on the water.
Howard remains for one month and we would appreciate support for him in his final weeks as Catering Manager.
We would like to assure members that normal service will remain whilst exploring the very best for the club.

Catering at TBYC
Dear Members,
From the afternoon of Friday 22nd , all day Saturday 23rd and Sunday the 24th of March the Catering Manager, Howard Fruin is away on annual leave.
I have secured a “Relief Chef” for this period whom I am assured is very capable and he comes highly recommended.
He will be working with Howard Friday lunch time.
I am able to announce that the current catering menu’s for all days will remain in place and will be available.
The relief chef is Lucas Wiland and he has worked at many well-known places as head chef. I would be grateful if members could support him as they do Howard.
I look forward to seeing you all using the catering facilities this Friday and Weekend.

Hello,
There will be a Carvery of Roast Pork Loin, Beef,Leg of Lamb or Chicken Breast served with a large selection of veg, with Yorkies and Roast potatoes.
Sticky Toffee Pudding is one of the desserts on offer as well as a selection of Rossi icecream and Churros.

Sunday Carvery
Dear Members and Friends,
This Sunday will be a Carvery of Roast Beef, Leg of Lamb, Pork Loin, Poached Salmon and a Chicken Breast wrapped in Pancetta,
If you have room, there is Jam roly poly, Treacle pudding or Spotted dick with custard to choose from some of the desserts.

Dear Members,
I will be taking a ten day break from the 15th-25th October, unfortunately I have been unable to find a suitable understudy so regretfully the kitchen will be closed during this period opening again on Friday 26th.
