TBYC Endeavour Trophy – Sat 30th September

Published by under Club Notices

The 2023 Endeavour Trophy is almost upon us.

For those who don’t know, this is the event where we pitch last year’s winners against the Sandhopper National Champions from that year.

It is a one day, 4 race, no discard, winner takes all event. All will be competing in Sandhoppers.

An enormous vote of thank to all the Sandhopper owners who have so kindly offered their boats so that this can take place.

This year’s competitors are:

Sandhopper National Champions 2022 – Alex Farrall & George Warrington – sailing the class boat “PRIMO”

RS200 – Andy Stickland & Mark Dell

Hurricane – Julian Reichert & Jeremy Sandford

Cruiser – Rupert Snow & Paul Farrall

Aero – Sam & Joe Blaker

Albacore – Richard Smith & Gordon Sanders – yes I know!

Laser – Chris Boshier & Dominic Speller

Finn – Allen Burrell & Lawrence Crispin

Cadet (Cadet week 2023 winner) Jojo Gillies & Alex Warrington as support

There will be a shake down day, where crews can go out with the owners to familiarise themselves with the boats to avoid any mishaps on the day! This will be on Sat 23rd the week before.

Please do come and watch from the balcony or from the committee boat or take a rib out! I promise you the best day’s racing.
