Big thank you to Sundays racing/safety/launch teams.

Published by under Racing

Thanks to all the TBYC racing/safety/rib launch crew. As duty officer and rib driver for last Sundays racing. It was great to have your support and dedication. My thanks go to Steve Hopper, John Glynn, Richard Sands, Carl Sullivan and James Fisher. Racing only happens in snowy, cold & wet conditions if we all join in. Cheers.

420 Worlds. Fremantle, Australia.

Published by under Racing,World's

The Commodore is enjoying 34’ of heat on the beautiful coastline of Fremantle.

Ben is enjoying the sailing here, so far in winds of 18-27kts. The worlds started yesterday with very challenging conditions and finishing was a good result. Today is very different and we’re waiting for the “Fremantle Doctor “ (the regular sea breeze) to kick in and deliver 20kts. Managed to dodge the sharks so far!

Happy New Year to all at TBYC

Frozen Sheets 2018

It’s nearly that time of year again, mince pies and punch in the bosun’s hut on the 6th and a bit of racing too, so break the ice from your cover and come for a sail in the Frozen Sheets, note the SI’s for the winter series cover the Frozen sheets, Note that the frozen sheets is a Mass start.

We’ll have a briefing in the bar beforehand around Midday.
