Thank you to all those who sailed yesterday in the Hunter Cup and Rebellious Bowl – it was a great turnout.
Thanks must go to Mr Phil Hunter who joined us on the Committee Boat and saw the racing. Mr Hunter asked us to make this race a memorial to his late father Dennis who died in the last week of August 2012.
Congratulations go to the winner Robin Foster-Taylor who shared the Firkin of Ale with all those present in the bar last evening – well done.
Mr Phil Hunter is keen to come back next year and support the event in this way again.

Well done Team Thorpe Bay for flying the Club Flag ( Rob Bailey, Gary Burrows, Nick Cotgrove, Graham Dare, Clive Dilliway, Martyn Ellis, Darren Fitchew, Andrew Hannah, Howard Hawkes, Steve Healey, Alan Leonard, Keith Persin, Theresa Ryall, Stefan Smith, Conrad Stevenson, Gary Sverdloff, Gerald Sverdloff)

The best 3 TBYC boats were:
- Howard Hawkes – 14th ( best race 4th)
- Martyn Ellis – 21st ( best race 4th)

There were a number of general recalls and a few black flags but a good time was had by all both on and off the water.
