Last Sunday was the conclusion of the 2011 Icicle Series, great racing with over forty boats participating in the final two races. Following a small computer glitch with our results programme after racing I’m now pleased to say that the full results for this series have been uploaded.
Thanks to the Race Officers, Support Boat crews & the Results team.
The prizegiving for this series will now take place as part of the Club Race Officer Training evening to be announced shortly.

I am at a conference on May 12th so unable to skipper SS3. Happy to take on a Saturday Race Officer duty not including June 26th – July 10th instead. Alternatively, if you are looking to swop because you are unsure about being RO, if you take my guard boat duty I would be happy to coach you as RO!

I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has followed and supported me throughout my sailing. Being in Australia and knowing you have the backing of everyone from your home club is brilliant. I’m sure most clubs dont follow members like we do at Thorpe Bay, and this is what makes us different to others. Thanks also to everyone who came down to the club last Thursday for the Champagne reception.
