Why bother cooking at the end of a tiring week when you can come down to the Club, kick back and relax in a friendly environment whilst someone else does the hard work!
This Friday, Howard will be offering the following delicious selection from 5.30pm to 7.30pm:
Cadets £4.00:
Beef lasagne
Mini burger, fish fingers or chicken nuggets, with chips, jacket or mash, beans or peas
Adults £7.50:
Chicken curry with basmati rice and naan bread
Burger, chips and salad
Goats cheese tart on a red onion & maple marmalade
Mushroom risotto
As usual, booking is helpful to the chef if you know you are definitely coming, however please equally feel free to just turn up.
If you know you will be slightly later than 7.30pm, perhaps due to getting back from work, please do get in touch with Howard so that he can try to accommodate you.
Any specific dietary requirements (e.g. no dairy, gluten free, etc), again please get in touch with Howard so that he can accommodate your needs.
Look forward to seeing you there tomorrow night!

Bangers and mash with peas or baked beans
Lightly spiced stuffed pepper with rice and a tomato based sauce
Cadets £4.00 – a choice of the following:-

In order to help Howard gauge how many to allow for initially, until we get into a bit more of a flow, if you are definitely coming on Friday please could you ring and let the bar know.
Food will be served from 5.30pm til 7.30pm, which will be tweaked going forward depending on demand. However, Howard has said that if, for instance, you are travelling home from work in London and don’t expect to be at the club til 7.30pm or just after, please do let him know as he will happily wait for you and save you some food.

I am delighted to welcome Howard Fruin, a long time member of the club, to the role of Kitchen Manager. Howard joins us from the kitchen at Billy Hundred’s along the seafront and is employed directly by the club. Howard starts work today cleaning and organising the kitchen. The kitchen will remain closed until at least Thursday lunchtime – more details to follow, watch this space.
Working with Howard, we have big plans as to how we can transform the kitchen and the catering experience delivered by the club but please remember Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Hi all! It’s that time of year again when I dust off my broomstick and create some magical Halloween fun for the cadets!
This year we will be celebrating on Sunday 29th October, 4-6pm. Tickets will be on sale from tomorrow evening, 19th October, from behind the bar priced at a bargain £3.50 each! Your ticket includes the usual crazy disco and games fun with DJ Groovy Tunes, plus some naughty sweets and crisps to nibble on.
I hope to see some fantastically inventive outfits on the day as there will be a prize for the best costume! Meet you at broomstick parking on the roof…… 😉
Now the boring small print…… this event is open to MEMBERS ONLY. Please do not cause embarrassment by asking for tickets on behalf of non-members – cadet names will be required for all tickets sold.
It is not possible to reserve tickets – payment is required up front.
