Benfleet Shield – Sat 24th July

Benfleet Shield  Saturday 24th July

 

The format will be similar to last time with a split start to allow for the faster boats to be in the same tidal conditions as the others and arriving in the creek nearer towards high tide.

Note Start times are changed:

    • Fast Monohull, Monohull, Catamaran and Sandhoppers starting at 11.00 using code flag ‘R’
    • Cruisers start time 11.03 using code flag ‘W’
    • Windward/Leeward boats and Tornado/Nacra/Hurricane starting at 11.30 on code flag ‘D’

As before, course posted on white board; port hand turning mark an inflatable in Benfleet creek, Committee Boat start, shore box finish and starting sequence 3-2-1-go
