John Griffin – a message from Valerie
It is with great sadness I have to inform you of the death of my husband, John, on 31st August, 2024.
John had been a lifelong member of the Club, racing Albacores in the 60s, and more recently sailing a Snapdragon 27 and belonging to the Snapdragon Association.
If anyone remembers John, you would be most welcome to attend his Funeral, which will be held on Fri. 27th September 2024 at 10.30 at St. James the Great Church, Elmsleigh Drive, Leigh-on-Sea, SS9 3DP. There will be refreshments in the Church Hall afterwards. Valerie would be obliged, if you will be staying for this, to message her mobile (07938 951 160) in order to let the caterers know. Family flowers only but, if desired, donations to the Fair Haven Hospice, where John was cared for so well in his last few weeks, would be appreciated.
