Royal lift opening
Notice to all TBYC members, this coming friday we will be opening the new lift and are very lucky and privileged to have the ceremony conducted by a member of the Royal family along with a world famous yachtsman. The proceedings start at 10.00am, the national and local press will be in attendance so make sure you wear your best kit for the national press and TV.

Friday 1ST April is that????????
Yeah, okay, Barry, can we bring friends and family?
oh yes, didnt even think about that, what a great day to do it, we may even recruit some new members.
Are Howard & Val back in the UK?
As Jim ‘Royle’ would say “my a*se”
many thanks to mike thomason for laying all the new pea shingle in the boat park this morning ready for the marquee for friday. lets hope the weather is sunny for the photos
It would seem news of the royal visit is spreading quite quickly. Earlier today, I spoke to the Evening Echo on an unrelated matter. A photographer and reporter will be there.
The Police have just left. They were looking under drain covers.
Can’t imagine what they were looking for.
All they would have found is a load of what eminates from Barry’s mouth!!
See you all tomorrow.
Hope you all have a great day, Unfortunately I will not be able to attend as I am having my security details checked tomorrow due to my wedding invite.
Regards Spratty
Two hours I waited and the only glimpse i got of anything nearing royalty was a couple or queens walking thier poodle.
fantastic turnout today with over a hundred well wishers cheering the proceedings on, watch the screen in the main bar to see the pictures of this tremendous occassion.
