of everyone who uses Club premises and facilities are of paramount importance.
There have been some incidents recently where children have been quite boisterous in the club house and in the vicinity of the kitchen in particular. This does present safety issues which we must address.
Children playing and running around in the proximity of the kitchen and the pool table pose a very real risk of injury to a child or member of the kitchen staff. The club has a duty of care to all its members and those people employed by the club and for this reason we would ask that children do not play in the area immediately in front of the kitchen or around the pool table. The playing of ball games in the club house is prohibited (except table tennis and pool).
Parents and carers are reminded of the Parents Charter, a copy of which may be downloaded here:
The charter points out that parents/carers always take the ultimate responsibility for their child/children and any other child left in their care. It is the sole responsibility of the parents to supervise their children whenever they are on the Club premises, surrounding areas and using the Club facilities.
If you are interesting in your Cadets participating in this years Cadet Week, please download the pack, print out, complete and return to me by 2nd May 2016.
Parents please remember; Members only, all groups apart from Stingrays need their own boat and you need to be at the club for the week and volunteer to help in some way.
