My bright yellow sea kayak was stolen from the club racks at 11.30pm on Thursday 3rd April. The theft was recorded on the club’s CCTV and showed the theives to be two men with a large light coloured estate car. The kayak is very distinctive, being bright yellow and with `Venture Kayaks` emblazoned on the side decks. Moulded into the aft deck is `Easky 13`. A clear picture of the kayak can be found by Googling `Venture Kayaks Easky 13` or by looking at my notice on the club noticeboard. Items that went missing with the kayak include a very neat folding trolley, a red cockpit cover with `YAK` written across it in black, a pump and a small storage box.
If you spot a yellow kayak matching this description I would greatly appreciated a call on 01702 353989 or email [email protected].
I am offering a cash reward for information leading to the recovery of my kayak.

I have been getting some of the historical documents that the club has in the form of scrap books, photographs, etc and have started making them available on the Internet to allow all members to view them. I have also been approached by a French man called François Chevalier who is currently writing a book on the subject and so my initial uploads has been around the International Catamaran Challenge Trophy when it was at TBYC from 1962-69. If you have anything that you feel that he maybe interested in then please let me know so I could make them available to him.
As for the club history I hope that it will slowly become available at the following link TBYC History on ISSUU, although all the links will be available on our history page.
