Thank you to Alan and his Race team for all their efforts in trying to make today happen, but at 14:00 after postponement, coffee and teas we finished the decision was made to postpone racing till Sunday. We convene again tomorrow for 13:30 Committee Boat start. Thank you to Tony and his Safety Team for launching and recovering the Ribs today.
TOP’s will also be running from the race box tomorrow, with 3-6 short races starting at 14:20 under the Race management of Scott Weller.

The yachts were off the pier this morning waiting escort up to St Katherine’s dock where you can visit them before the race starts at St Kats on the 1st September
After a successful event at the Cadet World Championships, Alex Warrington and Ellie Wootton in 8541 “Stress” came home in the World Team Fleet a creditable 12th place. They managed to win the first race of the event which set them up well for a challenging championships in tough conditions.
The TBYC teams are now preparing for the National Championships in Abersoch starting this weekend. Alex and Ellie will be joined by TBYC team of Matt and Katy Lloyd in 9029 “Freestyle” and Stone/TBYC pairing of Kat Selfe and Ben Warrington sailing 7280 “Predator”.

Weighed to settle an argument between friends a few years back; boat was around 20kgs lighter than number 2000 all up and they’ve only been built heavier since. Despite the age and low weight, the hull remains solid and is in very good condition with only a very minor dent to the hull, courtesy of an Irish kid who didn’t understand start lines.
