Four young people from TBYC have been selected for the UK Cadet Class National Squad. They are: Alex Warrington sailing with Ellie Wootton from Waldringfield SC, Ben Warrington sailing with Kat Selfe from Stone SC and Matthew & Katy Lloyd both from a lot closer to home.
The aim of the National Squad is to train promising young sailors over the winter with a view to them qualifying in the spring for the team to represent the UK at the World Championships in Belgium next July.

Thank you to all those who sailed yesterday in the Hunter Cup and Rebellious Bowl – it was a great turnout.
Thanks must go to Mr Phil Hunter who joined us on the Committee Boat and saw the racing. Mr Hunter asked us to make this race a memorial to his late father Dennis who died in the last week of August 2012.
Congratulations go to the winner Robin Foster-Taylor who shared the Firkin of Ale with all those present in the bar last evening – well done.
Mr Phil Hunter is keen to come back next year and support the event in this way again.

We are pleased to announce “Sunday carvery” will be opening once every month starting from this Sunday, 7th October. Giving you something a little different from the usual Sunday roast, we will be serving Turkey breast, roast leg of Pork or Beef Bourguignon served with a choice of roast root veg, mash, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings with gravy. This can be accompanied by starters and desserts which will be displayed on the special board on the day. Prices will be £10 for 2 courses or £12 for 3 courses. We at Fuud ltd hope to have your support and hope this can lead to a regular Sunday at the club. Kind regards Lisa
