TOP Series 23rd June 2012

Published by under Cadets

Dear All TOP Series Cadets

Just a reminder that the T.O.P’s summer series starts this Saturday 23rd June at 14:20.

This is a revision from the club programme as the race was originally scheduled for the Sunday so please disregard this and take it as my calendar list of races.

A coaching talk will go ahead this Saturday before racing at 13:00 up in the Commodores Bar.

The long range forecast is looking good at the moment with 13mph winds and sunny.

Hope to see you there
Johnno

Wimbledon Strawberries & Champagne Cocktails Afternoon : Saturday 30th June 2012 2.00-5.00pm

On Saturday 30th June between 2.00-5.00pm, TBYC will be celebrating the conclusion of the first weeks play at Wimbledon with a Strawberries & Champagne Cocktails afternoon.

We’ll be serving bowls of fresh strawberries and cream with a choice of Champagne Cocktail or Pimm’s, and hope to be able to enjoy some live action from Wimbledon on the club’s screens, or relax on the balcony in the sunshine!

Tickets available from the club bar at only £5.00 per person – a great excuse to get together with friends at the club for a leisurely afternoon!
Look forward to seeing you there…

Next Saturday, 23 June 2012,  is the Ladies, crews and single handed trophy race.

  • Three fleets/sets of results – mass start – one course – average lap racing.

Sign on/off for the fleet you intend to be in:

  • Ladies’ fleet – any lady helming any boat.

  • Crew’s fleet – Anyone who is usually a crew, helming any 2 or 3 person boat.

  • Single handed fleet – Anyone helming any single-handed boat of any class

Some ladies could be in any one of the above fleets – you chose before the start, as appropriate – but you can only sign on/off, and be, in one fleet.

See you there
