Cadet Week 2019 Photos

Hi all I have set up a drop box to collect pictures and video during the cadet week. So the media team of Barry Duce, Lyndon, Paul Morgan and Struan can post pictures and articles dally on the TV monitors around the club, the club website and on facebook for all participants to enjoy along with articles of interest during the week.

Also Southend council are going to post about the week on the towns website and social media sites

As you can imagine there will be lots of coverage with parents and helpers. So please only upload  your favourite 10 photos of each day.

If you have video clips they are welcome to but I would suggest short clips are best not zoomed in

Anyone who wishes to upload photos to the drop box account please send me an email requesting access and I will send you an invite to the drop box.

We will try to use as many pictures as we can for all to enjoy and then setup a cadet week 2019 folder with all the pictures on the club website

Kind Regards Steve Hopper Commodore

Stage 1 Sail Training Cancelled

Published by under Club Notices

We must cancel the Stage 1 Sail Training this weekend at TBYC due to insufficient instructors being available to run the training safely.

It is a busy time of year and our normal helpers are away at other events and we have not been able to find replacements.

We apologise for this short notice but we did not want to cancel until the last reasonable moment.

This training will be rescheduled at a later date.

Albacore: Graham and Nick Ollett – CONFIRMED
Single Handers: Duncan de Boltz and Ronnie Barnes – CONFIRMED
Contender: Chris Boshier  – CONFIRMED subject to crew

We would also like to offer a boat to our Cadets and we’ll decide how to do that in Cadet Week.

The Sailing Instructions are attached. It will be a 1 day event with 4 races, all to count with the winner being declared the TBYC Endeavour Champion 2019.

We really hope that all invitees will accept the challenge and join in the spirit of our wonderful sport of sailing.
