Cadet Race Training – Sunday

Published by under Cadets

Dear Cadets and Parents,

There is Cadet Race Training run by me this Sunday, 07/07/2019, start on the water at 14:00.
Briefing is at the Sail Training Room at 13:30 – optional

Could all sailors, please change and rig their boats before?

Focus is still on Upwind Sailing and Tacking.
Special course with 3 windward marks!
We may cover man overboard if goes well.

Reason for not changing topics:
I tried this twice before, first there was hardly any wind.
Last time there was too much wind, sailors had to fight for survival

See you on the water:
Andras

Please, ask your sailors to look at the YouTube Channel “TBYCPicofleet”
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNqoiF-KEcV5JfabPj4K6kA/videos

“Briefing for training 9/6/2019” – this is the plan for this Sunday as well.
“Upwind basics” – you may find this useful
“Top tips for cadet regatta”
“come to coach boat” – this will help to understand the man overboard manoeuvre
