Burrage Boys 1st Hobday Anniversary Trophy
Huge congratulations to Miles and Mason Burrage sailing their 49er Big Bear to victory today in the Hobday Anniversary Trophy.
these two guys have impressed us all with the dedication to diet and fitness that has enabled them to master the skills at the highest technical & team sailing level which is the Olympic 49er.
I think it is now time to take your father Terry for a spin round the bay!
great sailing guys,
Peter

I watched the whole race today from Seasafe 7. It was clear to see that they had the bit through their teeth chasing the other 49er’s down, the speed and control they showed was amazing, a true pleasure to see them get through and win.
Not to mention the personal goals they have achieved you are truly inspirational.
A deserved win, well done boys keep it up.
Sorry Peter,
Did you say diet? If you wish to emulate the Burrage boys in the 49ers, I’ll arrange for Barry to give you some tips!
I was drinking Zamboca slammers with Miles and Mason at Mark Smiths wedding reception on Saurday night ! This must have given the two of them the extra speed required to win !
Well done !
well done boys!
I hope there is some video footage.
would of been out there myself if not for cancelling alarm instead of snoozing it
well done boys you deserved it, I watched from the committee boat it was fantastic,
Nicely done lads. a great display and role model for not only the cadets but the rest of us showing that hard work and commitment pays off.
