RIB Launch and Recovery

Please note that now the slipway has gone, the RIBs have to be launched and recovered by hand. As we discovered today, this takes 12 people! If you are racing during the next few weeks please be prepared to lend a hand with this operation.

    Having been involved in the recovery yesterday of SS5, the trailer and Tony’s Disco, is it at all feasible to launch from the rather lovely, totally under utilised Halfway YC slipway? I know the entry to the slipway is difficult but once over the hill, the rest should be relatively easy. It will be less like the Camel Trophy!
