Work Party

We will be scrubbing the slipway on Thursday night from 5pm, (19th) please bring a stiff brush etc and lend a hand, the more the easier it is for all of us, if you have a pressure washer please bring it along.

    Hi Barry

    Unfortunately I will be away so cannot help. However, as a seasoned hand in slipway scrubbing, I strongly recommend the pressurewasher over the broom! Perhaps there is also some eco friendly version of bleach we could use to kill off the weed? I suspect that is our real answer.

    Can you get hold of the Club’s jemmy as the 4x4s have again ripped off some of the slats leaving very nasty protruding nails mid jetty which easily puncture dinghy hulls. My claw hammer won’t touch them!
